Who We Are
Lennybird Jewelry is comprised of sister and artist duo Ezra and Taylor Gallagher. Both established a love for the arts at a young age and were encouraged to try as many mediums as possible. In college Taylor found ceramics, which she then shared with her sister Ezra. A love and appreciation for jewelry was established early on from their Abuela, who gave jewelry as gifts for every occasion and currently always sports more than 10 rings on her fingers. From these two influences Lennybird Jewelry was created, combining ceramics and jewelry making.
Ezra
Ezra graduated from Georgia Tech with a BSBA in business. She is currently located in Atlanta, GA and works as the main permanent jewelry welder.
Ezra personally prefers a more classic and simple jewelry aesthetic, which aligns with the beauty and ideals of permanent jewelry - a basic that is worn at all times and meant to highlight, not overshadow, any non-permanent jewelry pieces.
Her skills include marble dying, leather work, and sewing. She creates a variety of goods for our pop-up shops.
Taylor
Taylor originally got her start in the ceramics industry, as she quickly fell in love with the wheel.
Several years ago Taylor became interested in the welding trade, for which she studied at a local welding school in the Pacific NorthWest. She currently resides in Tacoma, WA and works as the ceramicist for Lennybird.
Taylor’s affinity for jewelry was instilled in her by her Abuelita, who’s motto is that you can never have too many jewelry pieces on. Forget Chanel. Look in the mirror before you leave your house and add one more piece!
